On Sunday 26th February Mark and I did a Skype video
conference call with his brother (and briefly his partner) in Featherston and Mark’s
sister, brother-in-law, nephew and niece in Melbourne. It was so cool!
It is really great for Mark as well as he has yet to meet
his gorgeous niece. We have all decided to do conferencing more regularly. I
believe it is really important especially as the kids get older.
I love technology. I am seriously considering pouring water
on our old CRT television so we can invest in a Skype-capable television...but I won't.
This is such a good reminder to me that we need to utilise this technology more often to engage with family overseas.
