Sunday mornings in Auckland

I decided to go out early on the last Sunday before Christmas before the roads got crazy. My aim was to get to Farro by 9am to get what I needed and get out quickly. 

This is what I thought or witness on my travels towards Grey Lynn:

Massey still asleep and peaceful

Kokako Coffee

Men in bicycles in tinsel and pink tutu’s

Stumbling and weaving as you walk home from last night along the start of K'Rd

Grey Lynn, walking home from the supermarket carrying a box of beer with one hand and holding an open bottle with the other....9am

At the moment I love the Felix Jaehn remix of Rufus and Chaka Khan’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’.

I loved the original and I love the BEAT of this new version.

No. 48 - Inspirational Quote

 
One of the things to do as part of my ‘101 Things in 1001’ was to:

Find a personally inspirational quote and work it into a piece of art or home décor

Last night, when I was watching the movie ‘Bite Size’ I found a quote that I love.

Be strong and courageous

Honestly, I do not know why this quote spoke to me but it did. It is a simple quote and the sentiment is rich and full of promise.

Now I just need to find a way to work it into a piece of art or home décor.
