Cool! Yes...Oh wow....your little sister is adopted? Cool! Yes, I have found it strange when people have said that kind of thing to me as well. It's like "ummmmm you do realise that we are biologically related"? *sigh*

I am surprised just how many people have adoption stories. It's crazy and very cool. I even have a friend that adopted a child out.

I do find the nature vs. nurture thing really interesting actually. I had never really considered it until I met my birth family and over the years I realise I have very similar traits despite not knowing them for the first 14 years of my life.

xxx NessNesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04512034167387126470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929762758389140117.post-14610783569930234502013-01-14T18:43:17.300+13:002013-01-14T18:43:17.300+13:00Loved this blog post Ness!
My little sister is ado...Loved this blog post Ness!
My little sister is adopted and I get offended when people find out and say 'oh so she isn't your real sister?'. Of course she is. I cradled her as a baby, fed her solids, dropped her at school, taken her to after school sports and I've shared my life with her.
I am definitely a product of both my parents and so is my sister, although she also reflects some traits from her biological family as well. Which reinforces the nature vs nature argument all over again lol!

Thanks for sharing so openly on your blog. I love it.Mel (allstarangel)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929762758389140117.post-6765879373664352652013-01-07T08:10:33.423+13:002013-01-07T08:10:33.423+13:00Hey Kez,
yes, it must be quite strange seeing you...Hey Kez,

yes, it must be quite strange seeing your Little Mister reflecting those two sides as well, and also he probably has some of your hubby's traits as well. It's like a melting pot of different things.

LOL I am fiery and strong-willed like my mum as well. Totally get that!

:)

NessNesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04512034167387126470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1929762758389140117.post-24430995445034858502013-01-02T16:58:16.119+13:002013-01-02T16:58:16.119+13:00What a great post. I'm like both of my parents...What a great post. I'm like both of my parents in conflicting ways too :) It's so weird seeing my Little Mister reflect those two sides as well!!
I can be cruisy and laidback in so many ways, like my dad, yet fiery and strong willed like my mum! I have an anxious side that over thinks things and needs some space, but I also thrive on great social connections and the need to get out and about! I think I just try to get through life by balancing everything out just right :)
KezUnpreparedhttp://awesomelyunprepared.comnoreply@blogger.com
